WHAT’S HAPPENING IN 2022:

1. We have installed a comprehensive fire protection system to meet our health, safety, environmental and insurance requirements. This gives both our customers and our staff the commitment and reassurance that we are committed to serve as a professional supplier and manufacturer of paints for the manufacturing Industries. We are not here for a short time, but for a long time.

2. NEW PRODUCTS:

We have looked at our current range and have decided to develop both new products and a refurb on some of our existing products to enhance and better our quality and features, thus giving our customers an added advantage in the market.

KITCHEN / BIC and UP MARKET FURNITURE:
The cost of the lacquer system is +/- 2.5 % of the total cost of the kitchen. However, the finish is what our customers see and also what takes the most wear and tear, so it does not make good sense to use a cheap/economical lac system. The main problems we have encountered from our customers are -
• Yellowing of the paint finish
• Pungent smell that hangs around for weeks

NB: *For an extra* 20% on your paint cost only for a kitchen R250,000 kitchen @ 2.5% of direct paint cost (excl labour) = R6,250.00 Add 20% for a PU (most popular and recommended paint system world over) lacquer system is only R1,250.00 extra You will have peace of mind that the lacquer system will be 1st time right, Always Right
• We have all experienced paint related problems and know that the cost to strip and recoat/replace doors to a kitchen and the unknown costs related to poor advertising we receive because of this

The products we highly recommend are:

POLYURETHANE LACQUER SYSTEMS

1. ELVOTHANE 2:1

A full polyurethane lacquer system that is * non yellowing, very low odour * very hard wearing / durable * fast drying / curing. Comes in pigmented and clear from high gloss to matt finishes. Colors are also tinted on request.

2. PU WOOD COAT

Polyurethane modified paint system, * Very fast drying *non yellowing * very low smell, excellent for off gloss finishes Comes in pigmented and clear finishes. Colors are also tinted on request.

3. WATER BASED SYSTEMS:

This is becoming more popular in the SA market, especially amongst the small to medium customers who have challenges with regards to fire and neighbour / landlord requirements. We have done a lot of research and our water-based products can be sprayed and brushed on. Although not as durable as solvent-based systems, they are hard wearing. Not recommended for counter / table tops etc. We would therefore recommend one of our polyurethane systems.
Our product is HYDROLAC:
• Comes in clear/white and colours can be matched on request
• Primer/sealer and top coats
• Gloss levels: gloss/satin/matt

4. DIY WOOD FINISH RANGE:

We make these under licence for GELMAR [see their website for all their branch locations] their WOODMASTER range in 1 liter packs which includes:
• 5-6 Standard Universal stains
• Sanding sealer
• Gloss and satin clear top coats
• These products are ideal for the DIY enthusiast and can be applied by brush and spray

5. DIRTY SOLVENT COLLECTIONS:

With our commitment to ISO … Environmental certification. We offer a service where we can collect your dirty solvents from your site. We can then recycle and assist in reducing our input costs that will assist with our pricing going forward. It will also help with your companies’ fire risk.
